Written during lockdown by Luke Smith, along side, Joey Grant, Mcknasty & Charlie Allen, the track starts with a sassy bass line doubled by the guitar.

Luke enters with an iconic melody played on the Fender Rhodes which is hypnotic and is echoed by horns.

Charlie plays a nice guitar solo, very James Brown with a sprinkle of blues, just to add flavour, also Luke’s solo on the Mini Moog reminiscent of the great keyboard legend George Duke. Followed by a Sax solo from veteran Andrew Michael Ross raises the bar even Higher.

Lockdown 2.0 oozes quality from start to finish with a raft of outstanding musicians collaborating on the track, sadly we lost the great bass player Joey Grant at the tender age of 36 to an illness last year.
Joey was one of the most influential bass players of his generation, his greatness lives on in this track.

Lockdown 2.0 is a toe tapping head nodding feast.
